What a journey it has been. From U10 right through to U16, this group has represented Corby Town in the JPL with quality, character and consistency. League wins, countless big tournament wins and some brilliant memories along the way, but more than anything, the reputation the boys built for themselves is what stands out most.
They became known as a really good footballing side that worked hard, played the game the right way and competed with some of the best teams around. That doesn’t happen by accident. It came from years of commitment, effort and the attitude the lads brought week after week.
As coaches, we are incredibly proud of what this group achieved, but also of the people they have become. There is a lot of talent in this squad and no doubt many of them will go on to more success in football, but just as importantly they are a great group of lads and that will take them a long way in life as well.
A huge thank you to all the parents and families for the support over the years. The miles travelled, the weekends given up and the backing you gave the boys never went unnoticed.
Also thank you to all the coaches and everyone who helped behind the scenes over the years.
