Did not show up to the races today lads - a slow start gifted the lead the opposition - 1-0 Peg. Some great play and some good pressure resulted in Lee latching onto the rebound and slotting away to make 1-1. Some more sloppy play gifted the ball to Peg forward who scored to make it 2-1 Peg. Then some great play from wellsy working his way through the midfield resulted in him playing a one two with jamie and the keeper making a good save - one of those moments where you know it’s not your day when the opposition break quickly and get a penalty - 3-1 Peg at HT.
We started the second half with the right intent and were awarded when Frank scored to make it 3-2. Ravens had their tails up and were going be or they equaliser.
A spat broke out in middle of pitch between a number of players from both teams resulting in wellsy and one of their players being sin binned. We brought on some subs to freshen the legs whilst still pushing creating loads of chances but not taking them again - deja vu from last week but weren’t as lucky as Peg broke against us with tired legs and we couldn’t keep them out again - 4-2 Peg which it finished.

We know we battled and tried hard but come up against a team who wanted it more and we had no luck out way whatsoever and that always helps sometimes. We keep our heads up and get ready to go again next week.
Win, lose or draw we stick together as a team.
