The 2022 corbridge Quoits Club Presentation Night took place on Friday evening
Several awards were handed out along with fines (in fun) for a range of misdemeanours handed out by Judge Tony March!
The Bog Seat award from the Allan Valley League went to our Fielders with Promotion to the 2nd division awarded to the Bowlers!
Payers players of the year awards went to David Brophy (Fielders) Andy Burrows (Bowlers) and Mike Robinson (Batters)
Thanks to Alan Danskin for providing food throughout the season, Rod Meek for working hard on the wonderful pitches we have and John Maude for his never ending support on behalf of the Corbridge Cricket Club.
Finally the committee of the Quoits Club for keeping us building and growing!

On Sunday (25th) the Quoits Club will be holding its Club Finals Day!
8 players have qualified to play for the Club Singles Shield!
Play starts at 2pm and all will be made welcome!

Just an early prompt to say on the 29th of May Corbridge are hosting the Lewie Barber Open. The event proved a huge success last year with a superb number of players taking part.
More details will be given nearer the day but anyone wishing to take part will be made welcome!

On Sunday the 15th of August we will be hosting our annual club competition which is open to everyone, both those involved in the club, but more importantly those in the village who would like to come down and take part
Everyone is welcome and with a handicap in place everyone has a chance of picking up the Club Shield (won last year by out Australian cricketer Shoey!)
Make a note of the date and we’ll see you there!
