Cookstown 100 complete ✅
What a weekend at the unexpectedly sun-kissed Orritor Circuit ☀️🏍️ Our first meeting with new rider Lee Hara Racing #97 had us excited—and he didn’t disappoint!
Friday we unveiled our new FAO RACING BY PMCG CONTRACTS & D-MAC JOINERY colour scheme to the public in all its glory… and biased as we are, we think it looks 😎
Qualifying followed, and after a few minor tweaks to suspension by SWB Racing Suspension setup and servicing and electronics on the twin, we found a strong base to build from.
🏁That put Lee 18th on the grid for the Open A Invitational Race, where he powered his way up to a brilliant 15th on the PMCG & D-MAC R6—mixing it with superbikes and enjoying a race-long battle with the experienced Andy Farrell 👊
Saturday brought race day action:
🏁 Supersport A – Starting 14th, Lee dug deep and set his fastest ever Orritor lap (1:29), finishing an impressive 9th
🏁 Supertwin A – Starting 10th, another personal best lap (1:31) saw the PMCG & D-MAC Aprilia come home in 7th
🏁The feature Cookstown 100 saw Lee start 18th and run as high as 12th before a steering damper issue forced retirement—an unfortunate end, but plenty of positives to take from the weekend 🔧
The buzz around the awning was great, the team preformed so well, and Lee’s hard work over the winter is clearly paying off 💪
It’s incredible to see him competing at this level at just 20 years old—he’s a ⭐ we are so glad to have him onboard and we’re proud to be part of his journey.
