Do me a wee favour. Just for a second. Imagine this:
You’ve been handed the perfect fat loss plan. Not a good one. Not a “this might work if the stars align” one.
The BEST.
It’s guaranteed to work.
No guesswork. No confusion.
All you have to do is follow it.
Training. Nutrition. Steps. Sleep.
Simple.
But there’s one catch.
It only works if you stick at it for 7 months.
Aye, I picked 7. It's my game, so my rules.
Now we're getting to the interesting bit.
What happened in your head there now? Because I can nearly hear it from here. 😂
“When would I even have 7 quiet months?”
“I’d probably need to cut down on nights out. ”
“Kids are mental busy right now, maybe after summer.”
“Hope himself would be alright if I packed in the wine for a while.”
“Right, I’ll go all in, be perfect. ”
“Ah wait, we’ve that holiday booked.”
How’s my aim? 😂
Those thoughts aren't random. They’re your conditions.
Most of the time you don’t even realise you’re doing it. You’ve been conditioned to believe that getting in shape has to happen...
When life calms down.
When work isn’t mad.
When the kids aren’t running you ragged.
When the calendar is clear.
So you wait...And wait. And wait some more.
Meanwhile, life keeps doing what life does. Busy. Messy. Unpredictable.
If your health only matters when life is easy, it’s never going to happen.
The shift isn’t finding the perfect 7 months. The shift is this:
From “I’ll do it when...”
To “I’ll do it no matter what.”
That’s the whole game. Because when you drop the conditions everything changes.
You stop chasing perfect weeks. You build something that works on the mad weeks. You don’t panic about holidays. You don’t fall apart when the routine goes sideways.
You just keep going. Seatbelt on when the road gets bumpy 🚗
That’s where the real results come from. Not perfection.
Consistency, even in the chaos.
So let me ask you:
When you think about getting healthier, stronger, feeling like yourself again, are you subconsciously attaching conditions to it?
Be honest with yourself.
That answer might be the thing that’s been holding you back.
