✨ What a weekend for our CASC squad at the Swim Ulster Age Group and Senior Championships in Bangor! ✨

9 swimmers. 24 finals. 9 medals — 7🥇 1🥈 1🥉
A seriously strong overall performance and one the whole team can be proud of 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

What stood out most wasn’t just the results, but the incredible team spirit throughout the meet. From the big highs to the tougher races, the swimmers backed each other all the way — creating a brilliant atmosphere on poolside 🙌

That unity was on full display on Saturday night, with our Girls A and B freestyle relay teams finishing 8th and 12th. Even better, across the entire weekend there wasn’t a single DQ — a real sign of focus, discipline, and race skills coming together 😊

🌟 Special congratulations to our medallists:
• Amelia — 🥉 200 breast
• Luka — 🥇 200 breast, 50 free, 50 fly, 50 breast, 100 fly
• Sofiia — 🥇 100 breast & 50 breast, 🥈 200 breast

A particularly outstanding performance from Sofiia, our 12-year-old stepping up confidently into the 13–14 age group 💪

💙💛 What a fantastic day for Cookstown Swimming Club! 💛💙

After a full day of fundraising at our local ASDA, we are delighted to share that we raised an amazing £470.51! 🎉

A huge thank you to all our incredible club members and parents who gave their time and energy throughout the day – your support means everything to us. 🙌

We are so grateful to the wonderful local community for being so generous, kind, and willing to support our club. Your donations will make a real difference and help us continue to grow and support our swimmers. 💙

And a special thank you to ASDA for giving us the opportunity to host this event – we truly appreciate it!

Every penny raised will go a long way in helping our club, and we couldn’t have done it without you all. 🏊‍♂️🏊🏻‍♀️💙

🚨🏊‍♂️ COOKSTOWN SWIMMING CLUB FUNDRAISER DAY! 🏊‍♀️🚨

We’ve swapped lanes for tills and goggles for smiles today! 😄 Our amazing junior swimmers have hung up their fins and snorkels and are taking over ASDA to raise vital funds for the club 💙💛

Why does it matter? Every pound raised helps us keep sessions running, support our coaches, enter galas, and give our swimmers the best possible opportunities to grow, compete, and love the sport 🌊

After a fantastic performance at Aquasprint on Saturday afternoon 🌊🏊‍♂️, 16 of our junior swimmers were up bright and early on Sunday morning ☀️ and off to Omagh to compete in the Enniskillen Lakelanders Spring Gala! 💪

A huge well done to every single swimmer who all delivered an amazing performance, with PBs all round! 🎉🔥

Six swimmers from Cookstown Swimming Club attended this fantastic girls’ swim clinic at the Bangor Aurora Aquatic & Leisure Complex — and they absolutely loved it! 🏊‍♀️💦🏊‍♀️💙🏊‍♀️✨

The session featured Irish swimming stars Mona McSharry, Ellen Walshe and Danielle Hill, who delivered expert coaching 🏊‍♀️, helped refine technique 🏊‍♀️, and shared powerful insights 🏊‍♀️ from their elite-level experience 🏊‍♀️💙

The clinic included an exciting pool session 🏊‍♀️💦 followed by an engaging Q&A 🏊‍♀️ — leaving our swimmers feeling inspired 🏊‍♀️✨, more confident 🏊‍♀️💪, and motivated 🏊‍♀️🚀 in their own swimming journeys 🏊‍♀️💙
