Three CASC athletes swapped the pool for the Irish National Triathlon Championships in Loughrea, Galway — and what performances! 🇮🇪👏

⭐ Ruby— 15th overall (11–12)
⭐ Martha — 10th overall (13–14)
⭐ Hannah — 9th overall (15–17), stepping up for her first race in the age group! 🔥

Fantastic racing from all three girls and a brilliant way to put all that swim training to good use! 💙

Swim Ulster is delivering Regional Judge Courses! 🥳

We are running these courses to ensure that your club meets the Swim Ireland requirements of Licensed Officials in your club. Swim Ulster delivers a high standard of competitions, and to ensure that this standard is maintained, we need additional qualified officials to volunteer and run our meets.

The team of officials that we have is amazing - make sure that some of your volunteers sign up and come and join the Officials Team - they do have the best seat in the house!

See below a list of Regional Judge Courses to be held over the coming months to enable Clubs to fulfil their Swim Ireland requirements - these courses are free of charge to Swim Ulster Affiliated Clubs:

Practical session Friday 28th August 2026 - 18:00 Lisnasharragh LC, Belfast.

🏊‍♀️ Join Cookstown Swimming Club! 🏊‍♂️

We still have a few spaces available for young swimmers to join our club!

We’re looking for children aged 10 and under who can confidently swim 25 metres front crawl and 25 metres back crawl continuously with good technique, and who can demonstrate the basics of breaststroke.

To join, we’ll be holding a friendly, relaxed and stress-free assessment – there’s no pressure, just an opportunity for us to see your child’s current ability.

Swimming with Cookstown Swimming Club is a fantastic opportunity to:

✔️ Develop and improve swimming skills
✔️ Build confidence in the water
✔️ Make new friends
✔️ Enjoy fun club races and competitions
✔️ Become part of a friendly, supportive team

Our sessions are perfect for young swimmers who are ready to move beyond swimming lessons and take the next step in their swimming journey.

🏊‍♂️ Congratulations to Ryan and Eoghan on an outstanding week at the Irish Youth & Senior Championships in Dublin! 🏊‍♂️

Both swimmers represented Cookstown with distinction, reaching the finals in all of their specialist events against the best swimmers in Ireland.

🥉 Ryan enjoyed an exceptional championship, qualifying for the A Finals of the 100m and 200m butterfly, winning bronze in the 200m butterfly in the highly competitive 18+ category, and setting a personal best of 25.89 in the 50m butterfly to break the 26-second barrier, after qualifying for the B Final.

👏 Eoghan also impressed, qualifying for the B Finals in all three breaststroke events, with finishes of 12th (200m), 16th (100m) and 19th (50m) overall.

A big thank you to Ballymena Swimming Club for their warm welcome and support during the week and to McAleer & Rushe for their very generous sponsorship of this years National kits! 💙💛💙💛
