Celebration Sunday! 🏊‍♀️✨

There have been some fantastic achievements recently here at Tonnau Swim, and they absolutely deserve to be celebrated!

Pat has just returned from a holiday in Greece, where she swam in the sea for the very first time! She even got to see some of the local marine life along the way. What an unforgettable experience and a whole new way to enjoy a holiday! 🐠

Elwyn completed the Berkeley Triathlon today! We’ve been working on front crawl over the last few months, and his goal was to complete half of the swim in front crawl. Considering that just a couple of years ago Elwyn couldn’t swim at all, this is an incredible milestone! Whats next?! 🏊

Marta recently completed her first full-distance triathlon! When Marta came to me last year, she’d never even swum with her face in the water and had never learnt front crawl. Fast forward to today, and she’s completed a 1500m open water swim! What an incredible journey and achievement! 🏊‍♀️🚵‍♀️🏃‍♀️

No matter what your goal is, or how nervous you feel about taking that first step, seeing you all achieve things you once thought were impossible is truly inspiring. It’s such a privilege to play a small part in your journeys.

This weeks front crawl practice with Elwyn 🏊

Elwyn’s made so much progress this year. It’s been amazing to see his confidence grow. Hard to believe he couldn’t swim two years ago—now he’s flying!

What an inspiration to anyone who’s looking to learn something new!🐬
