π THE OSSIE JONES MEMORIAL SHIELD
Names are now being taken for Saturday 26th September.
For those who never had the pleasure of meeting Ossieβ¦
Ossie Jones was from Llanrwst, a town that has always given the fishery incredible support. He started fishing with us in 2000 and very quickly became part of the place.
Everybody knew Ossie β and Ossie made sure he knew everybody.
A true gentleman who probably spent more time talking than fishing. π Most days he'd be here, whether he was actually fishing or simply calling in for a chat.
Sadly, Ossie passed away in 2001, but he's never been forgotten here. The Memorial Shield continues in his name.

12β12.30pm lunch
3.30pm finish
Catch & release
π Most fish caught wins. In the event of a tie, the angler who caught their first fish earliest takes the Shield.
Entry: Β£15 members | Β£20 non-members
Β£5 from every entry goes into the prize pot, split between 1st and 2nd place.
