Hosting the Curtis Cup in 2021 was one of the proudest moments in our long history. ๐Ÿ†โ›ณ

Welcoming the finest amateur players from Great Britain, Ireland, and the USA to our fairways was a true honour, and it cemented Conwy's reputation as a world-class championship venue capable of testing the very best in the game.

As the action gets underway at Bel-Air Country Club tomorrow, we want to wish the very best of luck to the Great Britain and Ireland side. ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

Watching the action unfold this weekend will certainly have us looking back on 2021 with incredibly fond memories.

Whether you are celebrating a great score or reflecting on what could have been, our clubhouse is the place to be after your round. From a quick post-round pint to a full meal overlooking the links, we have plenty on the menu to help you refuel.

Open to both members and visitors, it is the best spot in town to take in the views of the Great Orme.

Our club has been a proud part of the North Wales golfing community since 1890. For generations, golfers have battled the coastal breezes, navigated the bunkers, and enjoyed a warm Welsh welcome in the clubhouse afterwards.

Good luck to all the competitors teeing off in the Aberconwy Trophy on its 50th anniversary today! ๐ŸŒ๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ†

This is a true test of golf across a fantastic weekend of competition. The field of elite amateur players faces a gruelling 72 holes of scratch strokeplay over the next two days, starting with 36 holes here today at Conwy, before heading across the estuary to Llandudno Golf Club - Maesdu for the final 36 holes tomorrow.

With Wales Golf Merit Points on the line, the standard of play is bound to be exceptional. Play well everyone!

Did you know that this weekend marks a major milestone for one of our finest tournaments? Tomorrow morning sees the tee off of the Aberconwy Trophy, and this year is incredibly special as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the event.

Take a look at this brilliant photo from the archives, showing the very first trophy presentation back in 1976. Conwy member John Roger Jones, affectionately known to many as JR, was the inaugural winner of the Trophy, and we are delighted that he will be part of the Presentation ceremony again this year.

While the styles might have changed over the last five decades, the prestige of winning this tournament certainly hasn't.

Over the next two days, a field of amateur golfers will battle it out over 72 gruelling holes, 36 here at Conwy tomorrow, and 36 across the estuary at Llandudno Golf Club - Maesdu on Sunday.

We wish the very best of luck to everyone in the field for this milestone anniversary weekend.

As a qualifying venue for the Open Championship and host to prestigious events like the Curtis Cup and the European Seniors Tour, our links has been testing golfers since 1890. The coastal breezes, classic pot bunkers, and challenging gorse require proper strategy and patience.

Our junior section is a massive part of what makes Conwy Golf Club so special. It isn't just about teaching swing basics or short game technique; it is about creating a welcoming space where young golfers can build confidence, make friends, and learn to love the game.

Seeing the next generation out on the practice facilities and hitting the links every week is exactly what keeps our club thriving.
