itor, Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club provides a fantastic environment in which to enjoy and improve your sailing. The two storey clubhouse, built in 1965, is situated on the north shore of the reservoir and is well equipped with showers, changing rooms, a large club room, galley, bar, roof top patio and indoor workshop. Five generous slipways provide for easy launching and the boat park has tarmac access to over 400 berths. Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club is registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club with the Inland Revenue and welcomes people from all walks of life and all abilities. With an active social scene, modern facilities for individual and family members, and the best inland sailing in the North East of England, Derwent really does provide a safe and secure environment for all levels of ability and all age groups. Why not come yourself or bring your family and see what you've been missing out on! Members who wish to sail outside of normal opening hours can do so provided they sail with a buddy. Please note however that sailing outside of the club's normal opening hours is only available to club members.
