We're happy to welcome Tantobie CC once again this Saturday. They're a great bunch of lads and games between our two clubs always provide excitement

Here is our team for Saturday's fixture away to Langley Park and Bearpark CC 🏏

A mention for yesterday which saw our first win in all comps since April last year and a great fielding innings from our players. Credit to our bowlers, especially Luke Murray and Jonny Stamp, getting an advantage early 🙌

A catch of the season contender was made by Medomsley player Alex Broadbent. Having already taken one chance from the first ball of the game he followed up with a superb second in the same over. Displaying both dexterity and courage, he stretched low to his righthand side to make a one handed snag, sustaining injury in the process. No footage sadly, unbelievable 😭

It's been a rough start to the year but we're using a break in fixtures this week to reset

Upcoming games include:
- cup match against Littletown CC 2nds (Away), 6th May
- friendly against Civil Service CC 3rds (Away), 10th May
- return to league fixtures with Murton CC 2nds (Away), 16th May

We'll be looking for an improved batting performance. Always tricky in April conditions, should get easier as the season goes on.
