Full time…

Back in action in the league with an end to end game against Sunderland Samba.

Snods controlled the first half, and took a two goal lead with brilliant goals from Naz Hutton and Matty Dixon, and very unfortunate not to have more. Samba managed to pull one back just before the half time break from the penalty spot.

Samba started the second half quickly, and managed to swing the lead there way making it 3-2. Shortly after, an excellently worked finish from Matty Wheatley pulled the game back level. Both sides then looked to push on in a chaotic last 20 minutes, but neither side unable to take a winning goal.

A solid and energetic performance from the Snods, and would be considered quite unlucky not to take 3 points today.

We play Newcastle Community next weekend in our final home league game of the season.

Away fixture to league leaders Saint Charles in the NECFL Cup semi-final.

Two of our very own have been on a trek of a life time to Everest Base Camp.

Grant and Mark pictured with their guide R.D. representing the Snods shirts, have been trekking for 8 days to reach Base Camp all in the aid of raising money for Street Child of Nepal. This is to help fund children's education in Nepal and to offer them a better life and learning.

They still aren't finished as they have 3 more days to hike back down so still have some tough days ahead but have reached their main goal of Everest Base Camp.

They have managed to raise over £2,000 so far and would love to raise more. If you can donate, please help fund a child education.
