A world hidden beneath the Yorkshire Dales.

Today we took two clients on an unforgettable journey into Alum Pot, descending deep underground before exploring the spectacular passages of Long Churn. Towering caverns, thundering water, and landscapes that feel more like a lost world than somewhere in the UK.

These are the places most people never get to see. The reward for stepping beyond the footpaths and into an environment shaped by water, rock, and time.

Adventure doesn’t always mean travelling to the other side of the world.

Sometimes it’s right beneath your feet.

Fancy a proper underground adventure this weekend?

We’ve got a vertical caving trip at Alum Pot this Saturday morning — one of the Yorkshire Dales’ most iconic active cave systems.

This is a stunning, moving water cave, with a series of impressive pitches, cascades, and stream passages as you descend deeper underground. It’s atmospheric, exciting, and a brilliant introduction to vertical caving.

No previous experience needed — just a reasonable level of fitness and a sense of adventure.

Fisher Place Canyon is one of our more advanced canyoning adventures, tucked away near Keswick in the Lake District. This isn’t just about getting wet and having fun—it’s a chance to develop real vertical skills in a stunning environment.

May half term is in full swing and we’ve been straight back into Church Beck today with two brilliant groups 🌊🪨

Big jumps, slippery scrambles, cold water and loads of laughs from start to finish — exactly what canyoning in the Lakes should be about. It’s always good seeing people push themselves, try something new and come out buzzing at the end of the trip.

We’ve still got a bit of availability over the weekend if you fancy getting involved and making the most of the half term adventure weather 👊
