Coaching Team Update

As most of you are aware, Adam has been our Assistant Head Coach for a number of years and has been a huge contributor in making our squad as good as it is. Since Millie stopped swimming and his workload increased (he’s retired by the way 🤣) he recently decided that it was time to pass on the responsibility to another Coach. After discussing our options of which we have many within our strong Coaching team, we decided that Simon Ward should be offered the role as the next DVSC Assistant Head Coach. Simon is now Level 2 qualified and a very capable and experienced Coach. Thankfully he said yes. 👍🏼
So congratulations to Simon and from myself and everyone at DVSC, thank you Adam!

(Don’t panic, he’ll still be coaching 🤣)

The Doncaster swimming clubs, lead by Armthorpe, are joining forces to campaign for a new 50m pool facility in the city. Which will benefit Doncaster swimmers and the wider swim community for generations to come 🏊‍♂️

We are asking our swimming family, in and out of Doncaster to support us by signing the petition, and sharing with friends and family.
