Was great to see everyone at the club this evening ☺️

Our expert tutor teaching local teenagers for their Foundation licence, members on the airwaves on HF, a massive donation of soldering equipment and accessories too ❤️

AGM will be held 30th October this year.
We will also be having our Halloween pie and peas supper on the same evening.
Yearly subs are now due still at £ 20.

Club WILL be open tonight.
We will be at The J A JONES SPACE OBSERVATORY in the morning about 10 - 10.30 so any help will be appreciated to set up the site for HF Field Day.

We will be taking part in this year's HF FIELD DAY .setting up on saturday 5th September so any help would be appreciated to set antennas ect up .please bring your own things and food chair cup ect.

Solar Eclipse tonight!

If you're not watching it, why not take part in the Radio Society of Great Britain's FT4 competition for Science!

The FT4 competition is to study propagation within an eclipse. The last time this happened in the UK was 1999!

Whether you're witnessing it from inside or outside, take care and don't look directly at the sun.

Results are in for the Radio Society of Great Britain VHF National Field Day!

With our very modest setup, we came 4th in our category!

The HF field day is coming up. 5th - 6th September.

We would like to know if any of our members would be interested in doing this event this year?

Operating or just helping to run this.we are thinking to go on Saturday morning to set up ready for kick off for the competition .

we know we are never going to win anything? but its great to take part and get Mexborough and District Amateur Radio Society on the air and let people know we are still running after 61 years.

Please let us know as soon as possible.
