A huge congratulations to Jenni Armitt, Richard Burkard and Hayley Royall on being nominated for the Congleton RUFC Volunteer of the Year 2025/26 award as part of the Cheshire RFU Awards Presentation 2026.

While the award may have gone elsewhere this year, being recognised and nominated is an incredible achievement in itself and a testament to the countless hours, dedication and passion each of you gives to our club.

Volunteers are the heart of grassroots rugby, and we are incredibly proud to have people like Jenni, Richard and Hayley representing Congleton RUFC.

A final thank you goes to everyone who helped make our Women's Six Nations Final Day such a brilliant occasion.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and that was only possible because of the volunteers who gave up their time to help welcome members and visitors to the club.

What an incredible President's Day!

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers, supporters and sponsors who helped make the day such a success. From setting up the field and organising activities to serving food and drinks throughout the day, the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes is truly remarkable.

A special thank you to our club sponsor, PW Services, and to Paul and Steff Warddel. Not only did they provide the fantastic mini monster truck attraction, but they also helped move equipment, set up the field events, and supported the barbecue and bar facilities throughout the day. Your generosity, time and commitment to the club are hugely appreciated.
