🐭⛳ **THERE’S A MOUSE IN THE BAG!** ⛳🐭
**Ladies Past Captains Cup – 26th August** 🌸🏌️♀️
17 of our Past Lady Captains enjoyed their annual Stableford Competition — and despite a rather damp start 🌧️, the waterproofs and brollies were soon discarded as the sun came out! ☀️
🏆 **Congratulations to our winner, Norma Pickford**, with an excellent **41 points!** 👏👏
Norma is having a fantastic season, having also won the Mixed Past Captains Competition with John Burrows earlier in the year. 🤩🏆
🍀 Good luck to Norma in the **TaylorMade Final on 13th September!**
🎯 **Nearest the Pin:** Jane Pickup — who also made her 2! 👏
But Jane’s day had already got off to an interesting start… 🐭😂
Her playing partner, Chris Westrup, had spotted a mouse jumping out of her golf bag that morning! She emptied and hoovered the whole bag before setting off, confident the little stowaway had been evicted.
But on the **8th hole… squeal!** 😱🐭
**Mouse No. 2** popped his head out of one of the pockets!
Thankfully, Jane came to the rescue, caught the little fella and released him safely back into the wild. 🌳🐭 He was last seen **scampering off towards Somerford**…😂⛳
