🐴💜 WEEKLY SESSIONS ARE FILLING FAST! 💜🐴

I’ve had such a lovely response to our Monday & Wednesday weekly sessions, and some groups are now full or down to their last spaces.

I still have limited availability in selected groups, so if you’ve been thinking about joining us, please get in touch.

I match children to groups based on their age, experience and the individual child, so you don’t need to know which session to choose — just drop me a message and we can have a chat about what might suit them best. 😊

Our sessions are fun, hands-on and non-ridden, with children learning practical pony-care skills, building confidence and working towards Pony Club badges and achievements.

🐴 HOME EDUCATION PONY CLUB – LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE

Our weekly Home Education sessions give children the chance to learn away from a classroom and alongside our ponies.

Sessions are completely non-ridden and combine practical pony care with Pony Club badge work, confidence building, teamwork and plenty of hands-on learning.

📅 Wednesday afternoons
⏰ Hourly sessions from 1:30pm
👧 Ages 4+
🐴 Groups organised by age & ability
📍 Near Colwyn Bay, North Wales

Primary, secondary and older Home Educated children are welcome.

We currently have a limited number of spaces available.

Looking for something a little different for your child after school?

Our Reins of Change weekly Pony Club sessions are completely non-ridden and all about learning, confidence, friendships and having fun with ponies.

Children get hands-on with pony care, grooming, groundwork, practical activities and Pony Club badges, learning real skills along the way.

💜🐴 We’re off to the Pony Club Championships! 🐴💜

A huge GOOD LUCK to our Reins of Change teams heading to the Pony Club Championships next week! 🎉🏆

Our Minis and Juniors will be representing Reins of Change and Anglesey Branch of the Pony Club and Area 5 of The Pony Club in the Blue Cross Horse & Pony Care Competition, and we’re incredibly proud of them all.

They’ve worked hard to get there, so now it’s time to enjoy the experience, support each other, have lots of fun and make some brilliant memories! 💜

Meanwhile, Max is taking a slightly more relaxed approach to Championships preparation… 😂😴🐴

He’s having a well-earned day off and hopes everyone heading down to Champs has a fantastic time!

🔥🚒 Fire Safety Badge Day at Reins of Change! 🚒🔥

We had a brilliant day on Friday working towards our Pony Club Fire Safety Badge! 🐴🏅

A huge thank you to North Wales Fire and Rescue Service / Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub Gogledd Cymru for coming along to visit us and giving our members such an interesting and informative session.

With the recent wildfires we’ve seen across North Wales and further afield, it felt like a particularly important time for our members to be learning about fire safety, fire prevention and what to do in an emergency — as well as thinking about how we keep ourselves, our ponies and our yard safe. 🔥🐴

We’re very pleased to say that everyone successfully earned their Fire Safety Badge! 🎉👏

After all that learning, we spent the rest of the day enjoying plenty of pony activities too! 💜🐴

A big thank you again to North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, and well done to everyone who took part!

🐴 Anglesey Show 2026 🐴

We had a brilliant time last week helping and supporting Anglesey Branch of the Pony Club at Anglesey Show as part of the pole picking team! 💪🐎

It was lovely for some of our Reins of Change members to get involved, lend a hand and enjoy being part of such a fantastic event.

A great day, lots of fun and another experience to add to the list! 💜

🚒🐴 Special Visitor – Fire Safety Day! 🐴🚒

We’re excited to welcome a Fire Service Education Officer to Reins of Change on Friday 14th August!

Children will enjoy an interactive fire safety session, learning valuable skills to help keep themselves and their families safe, before taking part in fun, practical activities with the ponies.

The day will include:
🔥 An engaging fire safety talk
🏅 Fire Safety activities
🐴 Hands-on pony care
💜 Fun, learning and confidence building throughout the day

Pony Club members can work towards their Pony Club Fire Safety Badge, while all children will receive a Reins of Change Fire Safety Certificate to celebrate what they’ve learned.
