Craven Complete are a fitness and coaching company; primarily triathlon based, however as a personal trainer, I can also help with a number of things. Triathlon is our main love; with us believing we are specialists for the entry level and improver athletes. These are those that either are very new to triathlon, or have done a little but want to improve and jump up the finishers sheet a little. Th

ese may be very weak in one or more of the disciplines, lacking either skill or confidence. Saying this, I have worked with some better athletes who want to gain podium and are looking at specific structure. Being physio's and rehab therapists, we can also work with people have niggles or are recovering from injuries. If someone is a member of a club or already under a coach; we are not poachers and will not try to take you from those. we respect totally who you are and just want people to have the best triathlon experience they can. Our recent addition to coaching is our warm weather trtaining camps which are designed around the technique and skills section, so suit our niche athletes. Whether totally new (non-swimmer, anxious cyclist and struggling runner) or can do a little but need help to get better; we can help you.

We aim to provide a complete service (by Craven's - who else), which means we include this cover in our camps.
Coach Barry (camp lead) is a qualified physio with over 20 years' experience. Add to this final year physiotherapy students from Keele University, and what a team we provide.

So, whether you are in need of some rehab support following an injury or are looking for some physio-based advice on staying fit and healthy, including fatigue management, this is certainly the camp for you. This is all incorporated into your week as a personalised service we offer.

What is Rehabilitation (also referred to as rehab)?

Rehabilitation refers to the restoration of function and activity following an illness or injury. It should include aspects such as hands-on therapy, exercise, education and advice. The degree of each will vary from one person to another depending on the issue or incident.

Why do I need to do it?

The correct balance of hands-on (therapist based) and hands-off (self-manage) therapy will vary from one person to another with their not being a 'one size fitting all' plan. Getting professional rehabilitation will not only improve the rate at which you get better, but also improve your prognosis (how much better you will get) and reduce the risk of having longer-term issues.

Is it worth the money?

That is a personal opinion and choice. If you have a good knowledge and understanding, you can quite possibly 'self-rehab'; but ask yourself - If I get advice from a professional, will I get a better result.

Why is Craven Complete different from other rehabilitation providers?

At Craven complete, we treat all clients as individuals. Everyone's needs are different. We will give you an honest opinion on what you need, how much it may cost; but most of all, give you a level of ownership. What this means is that you will have an active role in how and how-fast you get better. The harder you work, the better the result; and we will teach you how to do this.

Finally, everyone's 'end-point' is different. For some people, it may be getting good enough to do their own shopping whilst for others, it may be to be fit enough to get back into a sports team. Everyone is unique but we will give you an honest opinion on what will be required.
