Conwy Dragons RFC - Gay and Inclusive Rugby

Well. That was that.

Unfortunately last night was the last training session for the Conwy Dragons for this season. With falling membership we no longer have the finances to pay for pitch hire or the numbers to make a team.

It doesn't mean it is necessarily the end. We are hoping to come back in the summer for some touch ( Birmingham Bulls RFC we are looking at TMB 😉).

If we have played against you, thank you for the great memories you have given us

The Conwy Dragons would like to echo the sentiments of our fellow IGR clubs and express our horror at the far-right demonstrations and violence that have taken place over the past week.

As an LGBTQ+ team we pride ourselves on being a safe space for everybody, regardless of race, religion, sexuality, gender or country of origin.

Have you thought about giving touch rugby a go?

Touch rugby is a non contact form of rugby open to anyone over the age of 18 and a great way to meet new people & get some exercise.

The Conwy Dragons are launching a touch rugby team and are looking for players.

If you are interested you can either drop us a message on here or come along to our open sessions on Colwyn Bay beach on Wednesday 10th July 7:30 -8:00 (between the pier and Porth Eirias).
