One of the biggest mistakes I see women make is...

Thinking you only need help until you drop the weight you want.

Telling yourself the diet is the hard part.

Then once you’ve reached the goal you’ve got everything locked down.

But 99% of the time that isn’t the case.

I’ve worked with hundreds of women who have achieved incredible fat loss.

Women who have lost several stone.

Women who have completely transformed their bodies.

And do you know what many of them realised?

They hadn’t even scratched the surface yet.

I’ve had so many clients return due to releasing this once that accountability goes.

Losing weight doesn’t automatically teach you how to manage stress.

It doesn’t teach you how to stop self-sabotaging.

It doesn’t teach you how to navigate holidays, weekends, emotional eating, relationship struggles, confidence issues or periods where motivation disappears.

Those are the things that determine whether you keep the results.

And that’s why I think so many people see coaching purely as a fat-loss solution.

They see support as something they need to get the weight off.

Not something that helps them become the person who can keep it off.

The physique changes are often the most visible result.

But they’re rarely the most important one.

The biggest transformations I’ve seen haven’t been on the scales.

They’ve been in the women who no longer panic after a bad weekend.

Who stops starting over every Monday.

Who trust themselves around food.

Who can adapt when life gets messy instead of throwing the towel in.

That’s the stuff that lasts.

Because maintaining your progress isn’t about following a stict plan forever.

It’s about building the skills, habits and mindset that allow you to keep showing up long after the excitement of fat loss has worn off.

A lot of women think they need help losing weight.

What they actually need is help becoming the version of themselves who stops going back.

Also note that this s**t takes time

You can’t expect this whole process to happen in a matter of weeks or months

If you’re a mum who’s spent years putting everyone else first, please read this.

I’m guessing you feel guilty for wanting more.

You miss who she used to be.

Scared you’ll be told you’re selfish for focusing on yourself.

But every single client I work with who is a parent...

IS MORE THAN A MUM.

Every time you choose to look after yourself, you’re not taking anything away from your children.

You’re showing them what’s possible.

You’re showing them that being a mum doesn’t mean losing yourself forever.

That everything else doesn’t stop because you had children.

That your goals, your health, your confidence and your happiness still matter too.

Abbie is a prime example of this

She could have had every excuse to quit.

There have been hospital visits with her daughter.

Stress, worry, sleepless nights and days where training was the last thing on her mind.

But she never stopped showing up.

Because I wouldn’t allow that for her.

That’s what I am here for.

Not because i expect perfection or i am all about pushing through regardless

But because I know none of those things would become better by neglecting herself too.

She also refused to give up on herself.

She’s checked in relentlessly.

Sent video after video of her training.

Asked questions and applied feedback.

Just kept chipping away when life would have given most women a reason to stop.

She’s changed far more than her body.

She’s stronger, more capable, and resilient.

She’s built habits that support her through the hardest days, not just the easy ones.

The reality is, life will always throw challenges your way.

You can’t control that.

But you can control whether you keep fighting for yourself through it.

You don’t have to choose between being a great mum and prioritising yourself.

The best mums I know do both.

Because when your kids see you backing yourself, overcoming challenges and refusing to settle, they’re learning a lesson that no words could ever teach.

And trust me, trying to carry all of that alone is far harder than asking for help.

You just need to take the leap and ask

If you have a specific physique goal,

you need to train in a way that actually gets you there.

(Obviously if you have a performance goal too)

Far too often I hear people say nutrition should be your main focus when you want to change your body but…

For building muscle, it really isn’t.

Eating more carbs doesn’t automatically mean more muscle.

If you’re not training to build muscle, eating more just means you’ll gain body fat.

Trust me, I’ve made every mistake going.

Chasing the scales up and just getting fat.

Undereating until my arse looked like a pancake.

Changing my plan every five minutes until I didn’t even know what I was working towards.

The list goes on.

This isn’t my first rodeo. I’m 36 after all.

What I can tell you is what doesn’t work.

Swipe, swipe, swipe.

I’ve built my lower body to a place I’m genuinely happy with, and you can too.
