Great first session of our Mixed Summer Touch on Monday night! Big thank you to the 22 people that turned up and gave it a go👍

Open to anybody, whether you’ve never played before, haven’t played in a while or even play at a different club! Come down and join in the free, fun fitness!

Monday 6th June 2022 Summer Touch Rugby returns to Holt House!
Touch Rugby is a fantastic way to learn the basics of Rugby but without the contact. It is open to all, both male and female from complete beginners to experienced players.

Ladies rugby training continues tonight. 6:30pm arrive for a 6:45pm start.

After our first run out at the weekend in over 18 months, the ladies are looking to keep building ready for the season start.

Why not come up to Holt House and see what it’s all about. Experienced or not there will be a place in this team for you 🏉🏉🏉

What an amazing day of rugby we had yesterday! The ladies managed to get to the final and put up one hell of a fight even with 3 players out injured, but unfortunately it didn’t go there way.

We’re incredibly proud of every single lady that pulled on a shirt today after a long 18 months off. There was some outstanding rugby on show. We cannot wait for the season to start 💪🏼

Results:
C&N v Oldham - 31-5
C&N v North Ribblesdale - 10-10
C&N v Skipton Roses - 22-10

Final:
C&N v North Ribblesdale - 15-26

Congratulations to North Ribblesdale Ladies Rugby for bagging the trophy (drinks coaster😉). Hopefully next year people will understand that we have to put in the same amount of effort and work as men on the pitch, and women’s rugby will finally get the recognition that it deserves 🤭

Don’t forget, we’re always welcoming new players into our team. Experience or no experience, any age, any ability 👏

A week today we have our first game after 18 months of not being able to play!

We will be travelling over the border to Skipton RUFC to play in a friendly 10’s tournament against the hosts, Oldham and North Ribblesdale.

If anybody (can be from surrounding clubs) fancies a run out please let us know as we’ve had a few pull out due to injuries☺️🏉
