Sunday evening thoughts ????
I got a notification today from 14 years ago , showing me as a fresh faced 27 year old on his first day as a PT in fitness first Coleraine, walking through the doors after spending 2 months in Spain learning to be a PT and gaining my qualifications.
I thought I knew it all, and was ready to take on the world. And the reality was I hadn’t a clue 😂😂 In this game it’s only through time, experiences and learning and listening to people better than you that you actually progress!
I was very lucky to have great people around me who helped me massively and layed the foundations for the coach I am today, people like Oliver Cummings, Judith Mc Girr Dean Rankin ect.
Fast forward to today, I pride myself on how far I’ve came and how many people I’ve helped to date.
I firmly believe that my strengths always have been in building rapport with clients, having patience and empathy and building long term lasting relationships. Thats probably why I’m still here after all this time, as I’ve always made it about the client and never about me.
Ive seen some changes in the industry over the years, most notably the rise of social media , the latest fads and the drive of the online coaches which really exploded during lock down.
None of the above are for me tho, as i prefer to stick to what has always worked for my clients and therefore my business.
Im blessed to still be busy , the phones still ringing , and i feel im still bringing a lot of value to my clients lives, so il continue as long as it stays this way 🤝
Plus , ive that many bills i cant stop even if i wanted too 😂😂😂
Happy Sunday
Niall 😎
