The Apeiron Method

The Apeiron Method Einstein once said "The definition of Insanity is to continue the do the same things and expect to get different results."

How we train here is different, as are the results. It takes guts to stand out from the crowd; to follow a different path, but sometimes that path is exactly where you need to take your life; to take control for once. At The Apeiron Project we accommodate individuals, and make everyone feel welcome; you'll feel at home. Tomorrow morning at 10am we will be hosting a charity workout at The Apeiron Project to raise funds for a maternity hospital in Ukraine, we have a direct link to that hospital through one of our Ukrainian members.

If you would like to come along please do, we may be training outdoors so bear that in mind.

If you can’t make it and wish to donate just give Paul Cullen or Richard Lappin a shout and we can make that happen as well.

I know our voices are only a drop in the ocean but tomorrow we will do what we can to help.

What if, instead of worrying if you are good at a sport, you learn some skills for that sport?

Rather than worrying about taking time away from your family for your fitness, do you find activities to include in your day that are better uses of your time?

What if we hurt ourselves less when we train and train less often, and do more training we can enjoy and ultimately do more training?

What if, before you decide not to even start training because you feel you can’t do it justice, you give some over some real space and time to try?

Through helping your awareness of where you are and finding the opportunities to change- We Will continue to do everything we can, and more, to make this a reality in Your Life one opportunity at a time.

I’m unwilling to accept a world in which you are seen as selfish for looking after yourself
I believe that looking after yourself means you can look after others better.
I’m unwilling to accept a world in which every session you either have to go hard or go home.
I believe that you do what you can recover from so you are ready when it matters.
I’m unwilling to accept a world in which you have to be good at sport in order for it to be good for you.
I believe that taking part in sport can be fun and outcomes are beyond scores and medals.
My vision is that each person navigates their own path to a Happy, Healthy, and Confident Life.

I will stay firm in my conviction that the world I believe in is anything but lost.
I’m ready to lead the change I want to see in the world.

We refuse to believe you need to be good at sport in order for sport to be good for you.

Enjoying sport and exercise, being active, connecting with friends goes beyond scores and trophies.

(And at the very least the fact you feel you are not good at sport should not stop you from trying.)

Finding Time is not enough!!!

When you decide to do something you like to throw yourself into it.
And we can find ourselves craving all the results straight away.

Especially when our lives are full of commitments, family, work.

The last thing we feel we have time to do is to make space for ourselves.

But if we’re to find a way to be happy and confident in our training and our health, then making the space to train is important.

It is brilliant that you are thinking about setting aside time for your training, to look after your health.

But are you making the space too?

A session at the gym or with a coach is not just the time you are face to face. It is also the time you are preparing for that session. It’s what you do when you are not there.

When you have the time and the ‘space’ together, that is where the magic happens so we can navigate our path to a Happy, Healthy, and Confident Life.

Suck Less at Running or At Least have Running Suck Less!!!

Learn how to run in a way that won't break you.
We can't promise you'll love running.
What we can do is offer you a way to approach running so injuries become less likely and you can recover more quickly.

As enthusiastic people, we often find ourselves caught up in just finding the time to train.
That leaves us with little focus to figure out what’s working in the long run, never mind doing it.
It’s when we accept where we are, and what we want to achieve with our fitness, we can make the commitment to growth and find fitness freedom for ourselves.
That we see we don't need to push aside planning our fitness to simply do ‘some’ training.
We need to embrace making our roadmap to fitness to enjoy the rewards for our hard work.
