What a fantastic weekend at the NI TeamGym Championships! We had 8 teams down competing and delighted to announce we have:

2 x 1st place teams 🥇
4 x 2nd place teams 🥈
1 x 3rd place team 🥉

Reminder that all classes are on tomorrow as normal, including Open Gym 1.15-2pm! The gym will close at 2pm tomorrow and reopen on Monday 13th April! Happy Easter to all our members 🐣

What a long but fantastic day at the Northern Ireland NDP grades!

Our WAG gymnasts put out some wonderful gymnastics and had amazing results!

What a busy weekend for gymnast Niamh!

Thursday Niamh competed in Liverpool and then straight off the comp floor and onto the plane to Oslo for the Unni & Haralds competition.

Delighted to announce the Team placed third 🏆 in Oslo! Unfortunately, some falls and mistakes kept Niamh’s score a little lower this time around but lots learned and experienced gained.

Thanks to her great teammates from and for a great weekend!

Today it was our WAG teams out for their first comp of the season at the Slemish Cup in

All the girls did a fantastic job and learned lots to take into their NDP grades competitions coming up.

Our littlest teams were out in action today at the Aspire Floor and Vault competition down in .starzgymnastics and they did a fantastic job!

5 All Around trophies, lots of medals, 1st place level 1 team and most importantly lots of smiles!!

We are so proud of these small but mighty Sika Superstars 💪🌟🏆

We are delighted to announce our very own coach Mike, after winning the GNI award, had been shortlisted for the BG Lifetime Contribution Award in recognition of a truly remarkable journey in gymnastics!

With over 30 years of dedicated coaching at Sika Gymnastics Club, he has shaped generations of gymnasts while also mentoring countless coaches along the way and being the club handyman, always quietly keeping things running.

Gymnastics runs deep in his life: as a child, completing his BAGA awards back in the 60s and 70s, and later he watched his own children grow up in club, and his daughter taking up the Sika reigns. A lifelong member of the gymnastics community, Mike’s commitment, generosity, and passion have left an enduring legacy that reaches far beyond medals, awards or results and we are so grateful to have him!
