Coaching has been my life and passion for the last 5/6 years.

I haven’t always been the coach I am today. My journey started like so many others—pushing myself in the gym, trying to eat “right,” but never really feeling like I was getting anywhere. I tracked numbers, chased progress, and learned the hard way that real transformation goes beyond just lifting weights or counting calories.

It took time, trial and error, and a whole lot of learning to understand that true performance isn’t just about looking a certain way—it’s about feeling strong, confident, and capable in every aspect of life.

I’ve learnt that life will throw a few curve balls now and again. Whether its;
- injuries (If you have a spare hamstring hit me up)
- illness
- family
- work
Coaching and working with my clients over the years has taught me that it’s easy for us to tell ourselves that everything has to stop.

But if you leave it too long and fall into the cycle of hating how you look, not feeling confident in your own body. Hating half the clothes in your wardrobe. Not feeling comfortable getting dressed in front of your partner. Not fit enough to keep up with your kids.

I could go on, but I bet you’ve felt one of these emotions before, got stressed out about it and then continue on with the habits that got you there in the first place.

That’s alright and you’re not alone.

If you truly value the goal you’re working towards I guarantee you’ll find a way to facilitate that and make it happen maybe just not as quickly as you first thought.

Or maybe there are other systems you can put in place that will allow you bypass those curve balls.

Helping my clients navigate this and seeing their confidence grow, and get closer to their goal and celebrating their wins

That’s why I coach. Because I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to want more from yourself but not have the right tools or guidance to get there. That’s exactly why I created Performance Elevation, to give people the structure, support, and strategy they need to push past limits and truly level up

It’s not just training. It’s a lifestyle. I can’t wait to help more people experience that themselves.

Best of luck and safe travels to the legend that is who is off on his travels to climb Mount Kilimanjaro 🏔️🌋

On Friday he’ll begin his 7 day climb of 5895 metres (19,340ft) to reach the summit.

Over the last 5 months we’ve been getting him prepped to take on this challenge whilst fundraising for which means a lot to Marcus - you can click the link in Marcus’ bio to find out more and donate

It’s been a pleasure getting this man mountain ready once again following his 3 Peak Challenge last year. He has gone from absolutely hating the gym to going regularly himself, taking up running and falling in love with the process of setting a goal and working his ass off to achieve it.

Trying to get huge and shredded for summer and feel like you’re getting nowhere?

Scared that holiday season is around the corner and you’re not happy with how you’re looking or feeling?

If you’re ready to get a handle on this, keep reading.

But before I tell you how…

I want to first advise, based on my own experience…

It’s absolutely not worth restricting calories and missing out on all your favourite foods this bbq season 🍗

Doing endless cardio and missing out on beers with the boys 🍺

Why?

Because you absolutely don’t need to miss out on those things to achieve the body you dream of.

Instead of living like a hermit for a few months just for a few shreds that won’t last once you go back to normality…

Why not shift your focus to something more permanent, as well as enjoyable?

Here are 5 tips for you to make it as simple, sustainable and enjoyable as possible.

1. Follow a training programme that you actually enjoy and can stay consistent with - no need to change your exercises week in week out.

2. Progressive overload is king - focus on adding weight or reps each week to ensure your progressing. (Bonus tip: A log book is a godsend for this!)

3. Prioritise protein intake - the best muscle builder there is and eat in a slight caloric surplus.

4. Don’t ignore your cardio - to maintain a lean physique incorporate cardio 1-2 times a week - again making it something that you enjoy and isn’t a chore to do. (5-a-side or a walk with friends sounds much more fun)

5. CONSISTENCY - keep showing up and try to get better each day. You won’t always feel like it but those are the days that count the most when trying to achieve a goal.
