So… today was my last day as the Spin Queen.
The past few years have been the most exhilarating years of my life. I took a chance, a gamble, a real risk at a time when others would have thought I was clean mad and to be honest I have absolutely ZERO regrets and I’ll tell you why…
I signed the lease for the studio in Feb 2020 and bang. COVID came in March. Just my luck right? Nevertheless we struggled on. It was what I wanted to do. I wanted to have some bloody fun! (Thank you Richard 💙) I bought bikes, lights and sound. It was all I needed. I put the advert out and the messages started, people actually wanted to come to my spin classes. MY SPIN CLASSES! My first ever client was in the last session this morning. CRAZY!
My wee wife, at no point did you said no, don’t do that, or are you crazy?! You went with it. TOTAL MADNESS! You fixed things that broke down, painted walls and told me to grow some balls when I needed to hear it. ❤️ you.
To my family, I am sorry I said “no” so often and said “sorry I can’t”. You are my world. From now on it will be “yes I will, and yes I can”. I promise ❤️
To my Spinners. Lads, live your best life. Do what you want, be the best you. There is absolutely nothing my spinners can’t do! Think positive!
And ring me to go for Coffee!
Thank you all for the gifts, cards and well wishes over the past week, I did not expect any of it. Many, many tears have been shed in my kitchen.
I truly love you all.
💚 Connie.
(And a big sorry to the neighbours who had to listen to us morning and night 🤣🤣🤣)
