Heat maps......🔥🔥🔥

Last week i had a chat with an U15 player here in NI around the roles of a No 10 and showed him some heat maps. I then challenged him to pick any player from any team and draw his own. He choose Jack Grealish... Totally inspired and impressed by his commitment and level of concentration.. Just look how accurate he was!

Such a powerful tool to use to help players to learn the game rather than just watching the game..⚽❤️

Finally there's light at the end of the tunnel and soon pitches across the country will be alive with the sound of football once again...

In the meantime, as coaches engage in 1 on 1 sessions, and clubs begin small group training, here's an alternative to physical sessions if you can't get onto the pitch.

I'm not calling it a master class nor a workshop, but this week I had a chat with a U15 player in the roles of a No 10 in a 1-4-3-3...It's worth saying that the content was generalised as i am not his club coach so can't give specifics on the system his team plays....

Back in December, I was fortunate enough to be asked by McIlveen to come along and work with his 2006 squad and a few guest players from local clubs, at his Christmas Camp at Allen Park in Antrim. Here's the session i planned....I'm posting it because, I only partly delivered what i had planned. For a few reasons, number of players etc but more so was the weather, it was Baltic🥶 .....Anyway, thought I'd post it and maybe someone else will find it useful....⚽️❤️

Over the past week we've posted 5 videos of which 4 where part of a series.. Just checked our page insights.. Our videos have reached the news feeds of just over 8,500 people with total video views just below 2,000. When combined with views on YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram that takes it just north of 2600 views 😁
