Whitecroft Youth Tournament Match Report
Team: U11 Stags

The under 11s Stags competed in their home tournament on a typical wet British weekend. The boys fought hard and were unfortunate with the results. On their last game did they put in a fantastic performance where they drew 1-1 against Ross with Nathan grabbing a well deserved goal. This was to go into a penalty shoot out, with Toby starting well with a rocket straight down the middle. With our change of keeper in goal (Stan) , he pulled off a great save. Then onto our usual keeper (Cody) to take a penalty who had a great tournament, slotted the second penalty to the bottom left perfectly. Our opponents missed their second penalty which meant we went on to win the game.
This lifted the teams spirits above the clouds and all other results during the group games were all forgotten.
A great tournament all played in good spirits by everyone! ⚽⚽

Evesham United Tournament Match Report
Team: Whitecroft U11 Boars

This week the Boars took part in Evesham tournament. Not one we have done before and the standard was very high !!
The team played amazing, quick one two passes out from the back saw us top of the league table and on to the semis, unfortunately the team we had previously beaten in the group stages bested us and sent us home in what was a Spicey semi.
The hard work in training is definitely starting to show

On to next weeks at Monmouth

Evesham United Tournament Match Report
Team: Whitecroft U11 Stags

The under 11 Stags took part in the Evesham tournament which had turned out to be quite a fast paced tournament with quick turnarounds between games. Saying that, the boys did a great job today. We were up against some really good teams and we held our own really well. We were solid all over the pitch and played some good football with some good finishing as well.

We had a good range of goals from Toby, Mac and Jayden.
When times became difficult for us, the boys showed real togetherness as a team and pulled each other together like a real team should.
Everyone who played today should be proud of themselves.

Rodborough Tournament Report ⚽🦁
Team: U9 Lionesses

Another week, another tournament for the Under 9 Lionesses! This time, the girls travelled to Rodborough for a fantastic morning of football.
The squad — Ava, Daisy, Heidi, Indie, Isabelle, Layla, and Maia — started with a tough opening match, which unfortunately ended in defeat. But that setback only motivated them, as they went unbeaten in their next six matches, winning 3 and drawing 3.
Their brilliant run saw them finish 3rd out of 8 teams, securing a place in the Cup semi-final. For large parts of that game, the Lionesses were the stronger side, but after a closely fought contest, they were narrowly beaten on penalties.
The girls should be incredibly proud of their performances, teamwork, and determination throughout the tournament. Well done, Lionesses! 💚🇬🇷🖤
