💛🖤 STANWAY ROVERS APPOINT BRAD WELLMEN AS FIRST TEAM MANAGER 🖤💛

Stanway Rovers are delighted to announce the appointment of Brad Wellmen as our new First Team Manager!

Brad arrives with an outstanding coaching and management background, including leading Canvey Island to promotion from the Isthmian North Division, multiple successful playaoff campaigns, and lifting the Essex Senior Cup. He also brings extensive experience from elite environments including West Ham United and Chicago Fire.

With a proven track record of developing players, building successful teams and driving clubs forward, we are excited to welcome Brad to the club as we prepare for our first season at Step 3.

Stanway Rovers Reserves are looking to finalise our pre-season schedule ahead of the 2026/27 season.

As the squad transitions from U23 football into open-age football, we’re looking for competitive fixtures against clubs of a similar or higher standard to help prepare the group for life in the Essex & Suffolk Border League.
