from age 5 and above It's a great talent to have!

Destiny Majorettes,

Majorettes it a style of dancing which involves Baton twirling, Flags, Pom Poms, and Mace! And we would love to teach others to become part of our family! We are a Majorette Troupe, based in Colchester. We are looking for boys and girls from the age 4 plus up to any age to come and join our team! (and yes there are many 20+ year old dancers out there in our our majorette world

!) :)

We enter fetes, displays and carnivals around Essex to promote ourselves and have a good time! We also enter local competitions which is where our competitive side comes out...Exciting! We currently train at St Cedds shrubend from 5pm till 7pm. Feel Free to come to down to one of our training evenings whenever you feel and get stuck in! So, we are now in the process of having our very own CARNIVAL !!!
right here in Jaywick!!

We are all working tirelessly behind the scenes with some amazing people to make this happen!!

When: Saturday 18th July 2026

If your a local organisation or person wanting to get involved.

Please.do share this and lets make JAYWICK CARNIVAL the first and the best!!!!

✨️We are also in need of sponsers, and donations to help us✨️ please do get in touchOur aim is to make our first as big as possible, this is all in aid of helping local groups/Charities in Tendring.

For this we are asking for:
✨️ people to take part in the procession.
Business floats will be Donation of choice
Charity floats - free
✨️ float sponsership, with your company banner on the float £50.00 and in our programme for the day
✨️stalls for the afternoon fun £ 10 3x3 mtrs
✨️entertianers to join in
✨️ grand raffle donations
✨️ road marshalls
✨️ a caterer to cater for the Queens Tea
