Colchester Swimming & Water Polo Club We provide a wide spectrum of swimming opportunities: Academy Lessons, Squads, Masters & Water Polo.

Swimming at Colchester is based on the belief that we are offering an enjoyable, competitive learning environment for swimmers of all abilities to thrive in. We provide a wide spectrum of swimming opportunities: lessons in our Academy, Competitive swimming squads, Masters swimming and Water Polo. Our competitive squads enjoy the benefits of a good coaching programme led by committed and qualified

coaches, hard working committee members and helpers. Our swimmers regularly compete at County, Regional and National level. We enter a range of inter-club competitions and open meets throughout the year to challenge and meet the needs of all our swimmers. We are committed to helping each swimmer reach their potential and develop their confidence whilst learning to respect others, be ambitious and determined. To achieve this, we have developed a friendly, supportive team of coaches and helpers. We believe each swimmer should be able to enjoy the healthy benefits of sport in a safe and caring environment. Nurturing their natural ability or keen interest to learn, at all levels. Our ultimate goal is to provide a pathway to a lifetime involvement in swimming and other aquatic sports.

Big weekend for a water polo juniors Almos Bujtar, Jamie Francis, Kingsley He, George Vinter, Dexter Atkinson, Daniel Blacker and Emily Turton who are all travelling to Manchester for the Talent Games and representing the East in their respective age groups. A year of hard work and training has gone into this weekend. Good luck all 🤽‍♂️🤽‍♀️

We’re looking forward to the Water Polo Talent Games at Manchester Aquatics Centre this weekend (20–21 June) 🤽

This is a fantastic opportunity for players to put into practice the skills they’ve been developing at Talent Centre sessions 💪

With a strong focus on development 📈, the weekend is all about learning, growth 🌱 and gaining valuable competition experience - not just the final result 🥇

Last year we had 6 Colchester juniors compete in the Talent Centre games... This year we've smashed it and have 8 children selected for the Games to be hosted at Manchester Aquatics Centre over the weekend of the 20 & 21st June. Almos Bujtar, Jamie Francis and Kinglsey He will all represent the East u16 open age group. George Vinter, Dan Blacker, Dexter Atkinson and Jackson Cichir will all represent the u14 open age group and will be coached by Martin Vinter. Emily Turton will represent the u14 girls team.
A year of hard work and dedication to the training sessions is all put into practice over these weekends so it will be hugely exciting. Congratulations to all our members and good luck 🤽‍♀️🤽‍♂️

A fantastic day today as Colchester’s Head Coach Charlie attended the Swim England Age Group Development Programme in his role as Team Coach.

It was a great opportunity for Charlie to work alongside talented young swimmers, support their development, and collaborate with fellow coaches in a high-performance environment. Days like these are invaluable for helping the next generation of athletes reach their potential.

Thank you to Swim England for delivering such a positive and inspiring programme.
