Thanks to the SU we have a fantastic Virtual Fair taking place online this week! If you are interested in joining Women's Rugby, join our Virtual Stall and have a chat with our members!

Join our Zoom from 2 pm to 3 pm on 20/01/21 and 12pm to 1pm on 23/01/21 to enquire about the club and ask any questions you may have!

Our exec committee will be waiting on Zoom to answer any questions and queries and will happily talk to you about how great Women's Rugby is!

*Festive Fundraiser*

Usually during the Festive Season we have a UEWRFC Christmas meal! However, due to the pandemic, we can’t do that this year 😔

However, we thought we could put the money we can save in eating out and donate it to a good cause! We have a PayPal link on our social media where you can donate as much as you can towards us purchasing supplies for Colchester Food Bank.

The supplies will include small bags of rice, long life milk, long life juice, shampoo, bags, squash, tinned fruit, deodorant, tooth brushes, and other essentials! You can look at colchester.foodbank.org.uk for more info!

We will be donating the goods this Saturday 12/12/2020 so please donate ASAP so we can buy the supplies! Spread some festive cheer 🎄🥰✨

The Trussell Trust runs the largest network of food banks in the UK, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis. Fourteen million people live below the poverty line and in the last year 1,9 million three-day emergency food supplies were distributed to people in crisis.

** Exciting news - training is starting soon!!! **

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, there are some rules and regulations we have to follow. All the requirements for training are listed above, you will be told who your groups of 6 are and what day you are training prior to the session.

Make sure you have a mask and some hand sanitiser of your own to keep safe and healthy!!! 😷

Screenshot the self-checking assessment in the post and fill it in! Make sure you then send a copy of your completed assessment to our COVID officers before you come to training. Our COVID officers are Chelsea Ingram and Clare Sexton 👏 If you display ANY symptoms, even mild ones, on the self-checking sheet do not come to training, instead self-isolate and get tested!

Just a heads up girls, we can’t wait for in person training but, sadly, we can’t start on Monday! Per the university guidelines, we shall have to postpone...

Keep checking our socials for any updates. Our fountain fitness session went well this week so maybe more online training will be implemented until we can train together!
