Sorry it’s been a minute, but we are back with summer term dates for kids tennis groups.

Ever thought about trying tennis for the little ones? Here’s what we offer:

Monday

Red and Orange Ball 🔴🟠 (age 4-7) 4:30 - 5:30pm

Green and Yellow Ball 🟢🟡 (aged 10-16) 5:30 - 7:00pm

Thursday

Red Ball 🔴 (age 4-7) 4:00 - 5:00pm

Orange and Green Ball 🟠🟢 (age 8-10) 5:00 - 6:00pm

Yellow Ball 🟡 (age 10-16) (invitational)
6:00 - 7:30pm

Easter holiday tennis/multi-sport camps!! 🐣🎾

Looking to get your children moving over Easter? We will be running camps over the two weeks, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We will be offering sibling discounts, and week long discounts, all of which can be found on our website www.colchestertennisacademy.com

Here is a schedule of what we will be doing over the 3 days:

9:30am - Warm ups, fun indoor games, relays, olympics 🏅
10:45am - Tennis. Skills, games, fun competition
12:15pm - Lunch/free play
1:00pm - Basketball
2:00pm - Football/gymnastics
2:45pm - Dodgeball/arts and crafts
3:30pm - Finish

Tournament updates! 🎾

We would like to say a huge well done to all of our players who have travelled to different competitions in the last few weeks. It’s amazing to see our superstars playing tournaments, and testing their skills against other players. Great to see all the hard work is paying off 💪

Arthur T went to Brentwood, coming 4th after narrowly losing in the semi final.

Annabelle travelled to Highgate Tennis Club, to compete in the Under 14’s mixed singles tournament. She won her first 3 matches to reach the final, just losing out to come runner up.

Hudson won at the Under 11’s singles tournament in Felixstowe, going unbeaten throughout the day.

Well done everybody 👊🏼

CTA sponge series 🏅

Firstly, a massive thank you and well done to all our players who took part in the CTA sponge series tournament. Lots of wonderful tennis on show and played in a great spirit. Fantastic to see all the hard work in sessions transferred to a more competitive environment. Well done to our winners;

Player of the week!

Player of the week is back. And this week it’s Elliot. Elliot is always so much fun, making people laugh and enjoying his sessions. His tennis has massively improved with us since he started, and he has taken his first steps in to yellow ball, which is not an easy transition, but he has been brilliant.

Tournament update!

Good luck today to Annabelle, who is travelling to Highgate tennis club in London to play in the girls Under 14’s tournament.

Belle has been training more than ever, and has been excellent, both in groups and individual sessions. She is now testing her skills against some wonderful players.
