Men’s team result: The boys travelled to London for a challenging match against Cambridge Rhinos, which went to five intense sets. Despite their hard-fought effort, they narrowly missed victory in the fifth set. However, the team showed resilience in the second game, earning 3 points against Onyx London, who currently sit second in the league. They are bringing home 4 valuable points—a positive way to conclude their season. Finishing mid-table this season, the men’s team narrowly avoided relegation after a tense competition—huge congratulations to all the dedicated players who stayed committed and supported each other throughout. Congratulations to Bradley (Captain), who earned two MVP votes today, and to Tomasz, who received the most MVP votes this season for the Tendring Men’s team.

Women’s results: What a fantastic way to end the season with two 3-0 wins against their local rivals, Essex Ravens and Sussex Dolphins! Six points stayed at home today! There were outstanding performances from each player. Linda earned her first MVP vote of the season during the first game. Alex received her sixth MVP vote, making her the most valuable player of the season! A shoutout to these two incredible players—Amy, who showed excellent performances in both games. Despite her young age, she held the team together throughout the day with her amazing and positive approach! To our captain Erica, who not only led the team this season but also became a coach and a mother to all the players. She kept the team united during those challenging moments on and off the court! Providing advice and guidance to the younger players while delivering a superb performance in defence.

Wow! What a busy weekend for our NVL teams! Yesterday, the women’s team had a tough day, losing both of their games. However, our girls did their best, especially with limited numbers and some players playing out of their usual positions! Today, the men’s team had an incredible match against the league’s first-place team. They took the Lionhearts to a thrilling five-set match! For their last home game, they delivered an outstanding performance against Worthing, securing three clear points. Congratulations to Alex for earning two big MVP votes yesterday, Duncan for the first game, and Posi, who earned his first-ever NVL MVP!
