We are keen to attract visitors and new members, and we now have a "Fixed Price to Solo Scheme" that takes some of the uncertainty out of the cost of learning to fly. We also offer "Day Courses" which will give you a whole day's experience of being a member of a gliding club, including three months' membership and up to six flights, for only £150. For people just wanting a shorter but no less exhi

larating adventure we can give you control of a glider in a "Trial Lesson" including three months' membership and up to two flights, for only £75. For people just wanting just a taster we offer a single flight "Gliding Experience", for only £45.

How's this for a free gift for five lucky Juniors at the Essex and Suffolk Gliding Club! A former ESGC Junior herself, Steph Smith has very generously donated this lovely K6, G-DBYM, to five very grateful current Juniors. Affectionately known as "Bymbo", the glider was previously owned by Steph's father, Kim Smith. Just in time for the soaring season at Wormingford, and with five in the queue this Bymbo is going to be kept very busy.
