As we prepare for the major refurbishment of the Leisure Pool, the outdoor rapids are now closed to allow essential preparatory work to take place.

The rest of the Leisure Pool remains open as normal until the full refurbishment closure begins on 28 September.

Thank you so much for your patience while we get everything ready for the next stage of improvements. We look forward to sharing more updates with you soon!

We’re investing in the future of Leisure World’s Leisure Pool!

From late September 2026 until early 2027, the pool will temporarily close while we carry out a significant programme of improvement works.

The investment will bring a range of exciting upgrades, including:
✨ Improvements to the pool and changing facilities
🌊 Upgrades to the flumes and water features
đź’¦ A brand-new splash pad
🌬️ And improved air ventilation

We know you’ll have questions, so we’ll be sharing more details, in the coming weeks.
