Pilates with Fiona Bee Mat Pilates classes in & around the Colchester area. Promoting fitness and well being, for all. I am CIMPSA registered, fully insured and DBS checked.

Based in Colchester on the Essex / Suffolk border, I have a level 3 diploma in Pilates (Practitioner) with YMCA Awards. My background is in dance & drama education, teaching children and adults for 20+ years. The benefits of Pilates practice are significant, as I have discovered through personal experience. Regular practice can improve posture, strengthen the core muscles which support the rest of

the body, help to develop strength, mobility and flexibility, which in turn can promote a range of health benefits as well as a sense of well being. Mat Pilates can work for people of all ages and all abilities, there are a range of options available for the exercises in all my classes. I am currently running face to face classes in Colchester & Brightlingsea.

Today we finished our Pilates classes for the term. All of these people (and there are more who weren't able to be there today), are Pilates legends!! They turn up, work hard and see (& feel) the results. I love working with them all every week and love hearing their stories of how Pilates is helping them in so many ways. It's great to have our weekly routine, but I'm also a firm believer in having a healthy break from the routine too. So, wishing everyone a great summer and I will see you all on 1st September! 😎🌞⛱️

From Tues 3rd March we will be moving our evening Mat Pilates classes to the 4YOUTH Centre, Tower Street, B'sea. This means we can have classes every week (rather than missing the first Tues of each month). The two mixed ability classes will still be at 6pm and 7.05pm. Pilates evening classes start back at the Community centre on 13th January! Book through the Gymcatch app to secure your place. Use code MAT26 if it's your 1st class with us, to pay a reduced rate of £5 (usually £8.50). 3 & 6 class passes are available too.
Classes are suitable for beginners and those with experience. Options are given throughout the class so you can work & progress at your own level. We each use a mat, and sometimes small equipment such as balls, resistance bands and light weights, to find balance & connections, which build strength & flexibility.
We have classes every Tuesday except the 1st Tues of the month. Message me with any questions about our evening classes. Hope to see you there 😊

Tomorrow (16th Dec) is our last day of classes before the Christmas break! We restart on 6th Jan for morning classes and 13th Jan for evening classes.

The festive candy cane feeling longer and taller is a great image to represent how we often feel after a Pilates class. It made me smile 😁🌲🎅
