Our Saturday morning Introduction to Ballet class is the perfect place for little dancers aged 3–5 to begin.

A lovely, gentle introduction to ballet where we build confidence, musicality and coordination — but most importantly, make those first dance experiences FUN. 💕

Our Wednesday Mini Acro class is already FULL 🎉 — so we’ve opened two new Saturday morning classes!

But what exactly is Acro for dancers?

💜 Acro is NOT a gymnastics class.

Our Acro classes are specifically designed for dancers, combining dance technique with carefully taught acrobatic skills.

Children work on:

✨ Strength & flexibility
✨ Balance & control
✨ Safe technique
✨ Cartwheels, bridges, handstands & progressions
✨ Seamlessly incorporating Acro skills into their dancing
✨ Confidence, performance & musicality

Rather than training gymnastics routines or apparatus work, our focus is on helping children become stronger, more versatile dancers who can safely use Acro skills within choreography. 🩰🤸‍♀️

💗 NEW SATURDAY CLASSES

MINI ACRO | Ages 4–6
⏰ 9:00–9:45am

JUNIOR ACRO | Ages 7+

These classes are perfect for children who already dance or those who would simply love to explore the Acro side of dance. No previous Acro experience is needed.

✨ WE’RE BACK! ✨

And what a lovely first night back! 💜

It was so wonderful to see our studios full again tonight — familiar faces, lots of smiles, plenty of energy and, of course, lots of dancing! 🩰✨

There’s always something so special about the start of a brand new dance year, and we have SO much to look forward to over the coming months.

New classes, new challenges, performances, competitions, friendships, achievements and so many memories still to be made. 🌟

Thank you to all of our wonderful dancers and families for being part of the LEAD community.

Here’s to a fantastic 2026/27 year ahead… we can’t wait to see what it brings! 💜✨

🎭✨ INTRODUCING PERFORMANCE ACADEMY! ✨🎭

This is SO much more than another dance class…

This September, we’re launching something completely new at Lucy Evans Academy of Dance — Performance Academy! 🌟

A weekly class where our students will ACT, SING, DANCE and PERFORM, developing all-round performance skills while working towards something incredibly exciting…

🎭 OUR FIRST EVER PANTOMIME! 🎭
Taking to the stage on Sunday 13th December!

Performance Academy will be led by our fantastic LAMDA-trained drama teacher and vocal coach, Miss Mia, alongside Miss Taryn, who will take charge of dance and choreography.

Each week, our performers will become part of a real cast. They’ll explore characters, learn scripts, develop their acting, work on songs and vocals, learn choreography and discover how all of those elements come together to create a full production.

And the benefits go far beyond the stage. 💗

We want Performance Academy to help children grow in confidence, find their voice, develop creativity, communicate more confidently, make friendships, work as a team and experience the amazing feeling of achieving something together.

And you absolutely do not need to be the loudest or most confident child in the room to join. In fact, this could be the perfect opportunity for some of our quieter performers to discover just how much they’re capable of. ✨

Imagine the excitement of being given a character…
Learning your lines…
Rehearsing with your cast…
Putting on your costume…
And finally stepping onto that stage in front of an audience. 🥹🎭
