🏏 THAT’S A WRAP ON THE 2026 SEASON! 💚🤍

What a season it’s been for the Codsall Massive!

This year was very much about consolidation, building on the progress of previous seasons and establishing ourselves across the different divisions.

👏 1st XI finished 5th in Division 3 in their first season back at this level, a really solid campaign and a great platform to build from.

👏 2nd XI fell just short of promotion, finishing joint 3rd after another strong season.

👏 3rd XI continued to grow and develop, finishing 3rd and showing just how much progress is being made throughout the club.

🏆 Midweek T20 capped off a fantastic season by winning their league! A brilliant achievement and thoroughly deserved.

There have been plenty of outstanding individual performances throughout the year, but more importantly, some brilliant team wins, great cricket and plenty of moments that made us proud to be Codsall CC.

A huge thank you to every player, coach, captain, volunteer, scorer, umpire, groundsman, supporter and everyone else who has played their part this season. The club continues to go from strength to strength because of the people behind it.

And finally, a fantastic night at the Curry Night to celebrate another year of the Codsall Massive! 🍛🏏💚

Thank you to everyone who has made 2026 another memorable season.

Now we rest, recharge and get ready to go again! 💚🤍

🏏 Weekend Match Report

A brilliant weekend for the club, with wins for both the 1st and 2nd XI, while the 3rd XI picked up the points without having to take to the field.

1st XI | Hammerwich

A great win for a young 1st XI away at a very strong Hammerwich side who are pushing hard for promotion.

Batting first, the lads posted an excellent 290, setting Hammerwich a challenging target. The bowlers then backed it up with a fantastic performance, bowling Hammerwich out for 265 to secure a valuable 25 run victory.

A really impressive all round performance from a young side against quality opposition. 👏

2nd XI | Wightwick

Another excellent result for the 2nd XI, boosting their promotion chances against another side chasing promotion in Wightwick.

Bowling first, the lads produced a superb performance with the ball and were brilliantly backed up in the field, restricting Wightwick to 197 from their 45 overs.

The run chase was then completed in style, reaching the target in just 27 overs with 5 wickets to spare. A dominant performance from start to finish. 💪

3rd XI | Brewood

The 3rd XI picked up the points as Brewood conceded the fixture.

A great weekend across the adult sides. 💚🏏 fans

A huge congratulations to Taha on reaching his first 💯 for the club! 👏💚

Taha produced a superb innings of 120 against Penkridge yesterday, bringing up his maiden century for the club in style.

To make the achievement even more special, Taha is just 15 years old and has reached this milestone in senior cricket. A fantastic effort and a sign of a very bright future ahead.

Well batted, Taha. Here’s to many more! 💯🏏 fans

A fantastic day out as part of Festival Week at Gotham Village CC. Brilliant atmosphere, great cricket, and a real credit to everyone involved.

What a game. What a comeback.

Having posted a below par 158 from our innings, Rugeley looked to be cruising at 129 for 2 and were well positioned for the win.

But what followed will stay with our players and supporters for a long time. A combination of outstanding bowling, exceptional fielding and unbelievable determination saw the lads turn the game on its head to seal an incredible 2 run victory.

A win that simply refused to be beaten. 💚🤍 fans
