Wow! 🤩 What a performance these guys put in yesterday at the NWHL Pre-Season Tournament at Sebergh 💪🏻 after playing 6 games, totalling 150 minutes of hockey, they finished joint top of the league, but ended up as runners up only on goal difference! 🏅

Our ladies team kicked off the 26/27 season with a friendly tournament in Carlisle this morning 🏑💜

The girls all put a mega shift in really putting into practice all the skills we’ve been working on at training and keeping energy high for the back to back games 💪✨

WHAT A CLUB DAY!

A massive thank you to everyone who helped make Club Day such a success! 🏑🎉

It was brilliant to see so many players, juniors, families, friends and supporters coming together and enjoying the day as one club.

A special thank you to:

🍻 Cockermouth Titans ARLFC for providing the venue and helping us host the afternoon.

🎲 jenningsbrewerytaproom for supporting us with the garden games.

🍰 All of our amazing bakers who donated cakes and treats for the cake sale and helped us raise funds for the club.

🙌 And finally, a huge thank you to all of our volunteers who gave up their time to set up, serve food and drinks, run the bar, organise games and generally help wherever it was needed.

What a fabulous afternoon of bowls up at Harris Park (Cockermouth).
The rain tried its hardest, but it didn’t put us off.
Thank you to Chris @ Harris Park BC and their members for hosting, marking the games and letting KHC borrow the equipment to enable us to play.
Thank you for everyone that turned up, all the games were played in the right spirit and laughs were heard all round.
Congratulations to this year’s winners James and Kane, who won the adults and kids competitions, respectively.

Hello folks.

Some final details for our lawn bowls day this Sunday up at Harris Park…
We plan to start at 1.00pm, please arrive prior to this so we can sort teams etc
Please ensure you wear flat shoes (minimal to no heal) so we don’t damage the hallowed turf. Trainers will be fine. 👟
£6 per adult and £3 per child to play, CASH ONLY. The club are kindly letting us borrow bowls for us to use throughout the afternoon.
The bar will open offering various soft drinks and cans, this is also cash only. 💷 🍻🥂🧃
Feel free to bring your own picnic/ snacks to nibble on 🧺

We have half an eye on the weather and we may need to make a late call with postponing, watch out for any announcements Saturday evening/ Sunday morning on WhatsApp and Facebook ☔️ 🤞
