BROUGHTON RED ROSE TAKE OVER DAY!

This sunday, our club have the opportunity for our annual town take over day. This is a great opportunity for the club and our kids to be able to show their amazing skills they've learnt throughout the seasons being at our club.

A big thank you to Zarrin and co for attending our training session on Monday and the input you put in for the kids.

Good luck to town in their game against Oldham which follows after all our matches have finished.

🔴🟢BROUGHTON RED ROSE U12s 4-0 EGREMONT RANGERS U12s 🔵⚪️

What a battle on Wednesday. Proper tough, physical rugby league from both sides and a game played in brilliant spirit 👏

It was set for set, tackle for tackle, with both teams defending their line like crazy. In a game where defences were on top, it took one moment of magic to split them – Xav spotting a gap and powering over for the only try of the match! 💪

Special mentions:
🏆 Opposition Coach’s MOM: Tommy – Led the team like a true general at stand-off. Skillful, calm under pressure, and kicked us into all the right places. Class performance.

🏆 Referee’s Player of the Match: Adam – An absolute monster in defence and attack. First to every collision and set the standard with his work rate all game. Couldn’t be stopped!

Huge credit to Egremont Rangers for making us fight for every single inch. That’s what junior rugby is all about.

A big learning curve for Broughton Red Rose’s U11s last night as they travelled to Kells Youth ARLFC

Facing a strong and well-organised side, the lads were tested throughout and came up against a level of intensity that will help their development going forward.

Despite the result, there were plenty of positives to take away, with the team showing great effort, resilience and determination right until the final whistle.

Experiences like these are all part of the learning process and will stand the players in good stead for the future. 🏉
