We spent New Years Eve by sitting around a fire outside. There is something so primeval about a fire. It used to be a form of survival providing us with warmth, light and protection. Now we are fortunate to be able to use it for our pleasure. Be it a camp fire, bonfire or a ritual fire. In so many cultures fire is used as a way to cleanse and renew. To “burn” the past obstacles allowing for transformation. It is a way to bring people together, enchanting, powerful, joyful and purifying. Let 2021 be filled with all of these positive attributes of fire and continue to provide us with warmth, light and protection. 🔥 🙏🏽 #2021

I love tea, all types of tea. Be it herbal, detox, chai, bags, leaves, dried, fresh or a good old builders cup. Which ever type of tea you choose you need to be patient as the tea brews. One minute or three maybe longer, this will then determine the strength of the tea. A perfect metaphor for life I think. ☕️

Felt a bit overwhelmed with my to do list today. I think partly as I didn’t start the day with my usual mini meditation or workout. So I took a few minutes out this afternoon to myself to just sit sipping a cup of tea with my gorgeous smelling candle. 🤗
