Did you know you have two gyms to choose from on the same street 👀?

One Membership.
Two Gyms.

Caleb’s (our original unit and renamed) wasn’t built overnight, and it hasn’t been easy.

But piece by piece, it’s taken shape into something I’m incredibly proud of.

Most importantly, it’s starting to develop its own identity.

There’s still plenty updates to follow, but it’s exciting to see how far it’s come already.

First proper session on the Flex leg extension today and it is delicious.

After spending the last few days moving equipment, collecting equipment and setting equipment up, it was nice to actually train on some of it.

Today’s session:

• Flex Leg Extension
• Foex Kneeling Leg Curl
• Glute Builder Glute Squat
• Citadel Hip Thrust
• Cybex 45 degree Seated Calf Raise
• Cybex eagle Abductor

Kept things sensible 😅. My lower back is absolutely cooked from moving equipment all week and I’ve got a gig tomorrow, so no point trying to be a hero today.

Sometimes the goal is simply to get the work done.

Our first guest announcement for the 2027 JP’s Gym Anniversary Expo.

Annie Nelson will be joining us next year.

Representing both Team GB and Team Scotland, Annie is one of the UK’s top powerlifters. In 2025 she placed 5th at the World Open Classic Championships and currently holds the British 69kg record with a 550kg total, including a 230kg deadlift.

Annie will be joining us for a meet and greet, judging our deadlift competition and spending the day with members and guests.

Before then, she has unfinished business at the worlds, so from everyone at JP’s Gym, we wish her the very best in competition. Let’s go!

Annie Nelson

Another addition arriving at JP’s Gym June 22nd.

We’ve decided to invest in a Life Fitness Integrity treadmill with the SE4 console.

Unfortunately one of our existing treadmill consoles has developed a fault, but rather than simply replacing it, the plan is to have the console repaired and the treadmill added to 😊.

The wait is finally over thanks to

The original Flex Leg Extension will be arriving at JP’s Gym next week.

This is a machine we’ve been chasing for a long time and one that has earned a reputation as one of the most sought after leg extensions ever made.

Its arrival means the lower body setup across both gyms takes another step forward.

JP’s Gym will now be home to both the Flex Leg Extension and the Prime Plate Loaded Leg Extension.

The Cybex VR2 Leg Extension will move into Caleb’s Gym, giving members a dedicated leg extension there since we reopened the main gym.

Piece by piece.

We’ll continue investing in equipment that raises the standard and improves the training experience for our members.

Specialist isn’t a niche.
It’s a standard.
