A huge well done to our NWL Colleague Of The Month for August...Mel!🌟

Mel has had an incredible month and has truly gone above and beyond for our Membership Team at both Whitwick and Coalville Leisure Centre & Ashby Leisure Centre & Lido. Despite challenging resource levels, Mel stepped up when needed most, supporting both centres and continuing to deliver outstanding sales results. 💪

Her commitment and productivity has been exceptional and she played a huge role in helping smash targets across both sites, with her excellent communication, teamwork and willingness to help others making a real difference.

Even as she approaches the end of her pregnancy and prepares to begin maternity leave, Mel has shown absolutely no signs of slowing down! From covering both centres to staying late over the bank holiday weekend, she has really helped out the team!

Her nominations repeatedly highlighted the same qualities: hard-working, supportive, positive, reliable and always willing to go the extra mile. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Mel, and she has become a hugely valued member of the team. ❤️

Mel will certainly be a huge miss when she heads off on maternity leave at the end of October, but we couldn't be more proud of everything she has achieved.

Yesterday we visited Swannington CE Primary School for a water safety assembly.

The children all listened amazing to one of the most important messages they can learn. 🏊🛟🌊
