For those of you who don't know me, my career in the Equine Industry started over 20 years ago when I was working as a professional groom in a show jumping yard. From there I attended Enniskillen College where I was the top student every year until graduating with a first class BSc (Hons) in Equine Studies. Since then I have been managing my own yard, breaking and schooling horses, competing in sh
ow jumping, cross country, dressage, Le Trec, in-hand and ridden show classes, as well as coaching riders of all levels and abilities. Over the last 16 years I have been helping riders to develop the skills they need to communicate with and train their horses, whether they are happy hackers or out competing every weekend. I believe that regular coaching sessions are essential to the development of any rider and I recommend a combination of private and group lessons, both of which are available at my yard in Gilford!
