Monday Kawaguchi 6pm start at Nancy Potter house Topsham
Tuesday Lympstone 6.30 PM Start at Lympstone Village hall
Wednesday Exmouth 6.30pm start at Woodbury Village Hall
Thursday Clyst Vale 6pm start at Clyst St Mary Village Hall
Note that as of 14th Jan Exmouth will be training at the Cranford Club as usual until further notice.

Introducing East Devon Shotokan Karate 🌟
We are proud to announce the launch of East Devon Shotokan Karate, an umbrella club bringing together four established KUGB-affiliated clubs across East Devon.
Exmouth Karate Academy, Lympstone Dojo, Clyst Vale Karate, and the newly formed Kawaguchi Karate in Topsham now stand together as one collective, united by traditional Shotokan karate, shared values, and a strong commitment to our local communities.
Importantly, all clubs remain fully part of the KUGB, maintaining the high standards, grading structure, and competitive pathways that our students value. This collective approach also allows greater opportunity in competitions, particularly through improved access to team events and squad formations across clubs.
Each dojo proudly retains its own history, identity, and individuality. By working together, we are able to create a broader, more supportive karate environment, ensuring consistently high-quality instruction and clearer development pathways for our students.
With multiple experienced instructors teaching collaboratively, students benefit from a wide range of perspectives, approaches, and expertise. This diversity allows Shotokan karate to grow and adapt, while remaining firmly rooted in its traditional foundations, ensuring everyone can gain the maximum benefit from their training.

East Devon Shotokan Karate is about unity, opportunity, and community – strengthening what already exists while creating more pathways for the future.
