SAS Clubs Clydebank

SAS Clubs Clydebank An arts and sports club, run by Strathclyde Autistic Society! Free of charge! We also have an art room where we paint, sculpt, glue, tie dye, marble and more!

Held in Centre 81 in Whitecrook, our clubs run once a week, alternating between:

Fridays at 6-8pm

and

Saturdays at 10-12noon

The clubs are open to anyone on the autistic spectrum and their siblings aged 6 - 23. We offer a wide range of activities including football, basketball, tennis, badminton etc. There is also a quiet, separate calm room to chill out and relax. To find out when our next

Hello everyone 👋🏻

We have just received information from Centre 81, they will be closing at 4pm on Friday due to staff shortages - meaning, we cannot run club (28/03/26). We extend our apologies to you all.

However, the centre will be back open on Saturday (29/03/26) and we will be back on then.

Hey everyone 👋🏻

As this is our last weekend of club until the new year, it is our weekend of festive fun!

Friday night (12 December 2025), we are going to be having our pyjama party! Feel free to come along to club wearing your cosiest pjs, whether they are Christmas themed or not. The comfier the better! 🥰

Saturday (13 December 2025) is going to be our Christmas jumper/ dress day! We would love to see your most festive pieces. 🎄

We hope you can all come along for extra treats, activities and fun. All the staff look forward to seeing you then. ❤️

After this weekend club will be off due to the centre being closed for Christmas and will reopen on Friday 9 January 2026! 🎅🏻

Hi everyone 👋🏻

Apologies for the last minute post. However, following on from our last announcement regarding Halloween, we kindly ask if any masks are part of the kids costumes, that they aren’t to be worn in the Gym Hall or the Art Room.

In recent years, we’ve had a few instances of kids being frightened and we want to do our best to prevent this from happening again! 👻

Club is going to be off this Friday night 31/10/25, for Halloween.

However, we will be back open on Saturday 01/11/25, where we will be having our Halloween fun! Lots of treats, arts and crafts, and activities for the kids to engage with. 👻

Staff will be dressed up, and we hope you all will do the same too! 🤪

Just a wee reminder that club is off both days this weekend: Friday 18 July and Saturday 19 July.

This is due to the centre being closed for the Glasgow Fair.

Over the duration of the summer holidays, we are going to be putting on an extra day of club on Tuesdays! 🥳

Much like last year, there will be bouncy castles, games, and lots of snacks. 🤩
