🚨Channos break the Penatlies curse in Ayr🚨
Boys had there first away day of the season today with a wee jolly down to Ayr. Few late call offs and people out of position didn’t stop the boys though.
The boys played some great football in the first half on a pitch which could only be described as a tattie field. Granty won a pen and Walker slotted it away. Then Jambos long throw took a deflection of the opposition defender to find the bottom corner.
Half time team talk was one of well dones as oppose to moaning. Only asked that we don’t switch off from set pieces or offside traps. 5 minutes into second half we found ourself level again from conceding from a corner and then a long ball over the top. 😂
Fair play to the opposition they started second half really strong and hit the woodwork not long after also. After this kind of got back into normal flow of game and created a few chances, but was tough in the windy conditions and long grass.
Match finished a draw and we won on pens with Johnny, Walker, Granty all scoring.big shoutout to gall who saved two pens and also opposition skying one into low orbit.
MOTM - Big Jambo
Unreal from the big man today out of position and strolled it winning all his battles, constant talking from him and even a few lazy runs. We won’t talk about his penalty mind you
