π Well done to everyone tonight! We continued our World Cup Block by looking at Brazil and the famous flair, tricks and creativity that have made them one of the most exciting teams in football history. π§π·π₯
We worked on skills inspired by Brazilian legends, including rainbow flicks, Neymar flicks π, flip flaps β‘ and stepovers before taking them into 1v1s, shooting exercises and matches. There were loads of fantastic skills throughout the session
π§π·β¨ Brazilian Players of the Session β Hunter & Aiden β¨π§π·
π Hunter was outstanding in the 1v1s tonight. His rainbow flicks were brilliant and he nearly pulled off the move of the night, lifting the ball over the defender's head, racing onto it and creating a great chance. The finish just went wide, but the skill itself was incredible to watch! β½π₯
π Aiden was fantastic with his stepovers and body feints. He combined them brilliantly to create different skill combinations and constantly had defenders guessing. He also managed to pull off a couple of excellent nutmegs in the 1v1s which had me impressed! πβ½
π Special Mentions π
β½ Max β Brilliant with his rainbow flicks and Neymar flicks getting the ball high into the air and even lifting it over his partner's head on several occasionsπ₯
β½ Mason β Excellent use of the flip flap to quickly move the ball into space and drive away from defenders. He also used roulettes brilliantly to spin away from pressure. β‘
β½ Cillian β Fantastic in the shooting exercises. His skill variety was excellent with roulettes, stepovers and ball rolls all on show. He also linked up brilliantly with teammates in the matches. πβ½
β½ Zak β Showed fantastic determination tonight. He was unsure about the flick-up skills at the start, but after plenty of practice he was able to get the ball up and over defenders' heads. A brilliant improvement from start to finish! π₯πͺ
ππ§π· Well done everyone! Loads of creativity, confidence and Brazilian flair on show tonight. That's exactly what Joga Bonito is all about! β½
See everyone next week! π§π·β½οΈπ₯
